Switching and Dollar Cost Averaging - when to use these strategies?
There is always a debate between investors, Unit Trust Consultants and others on which strategy to use - switching or dollar cost averaging? Even talking and discussing with Unit Trust Consultants in Kuala Lumpur, I find that everyone has their own opinions and prefer to adopt only one strategy.

Personal Loan to invest in unit trust
Unit trust price is rather low nowadays. Every investor would think it's the right/best time to invest/top up investment now. Do you recommend for getting a personal loan to invest into unit trust? Bank Rakyat offer the lowest interest rate so far..about 5.6%.Advise please.

Amelia,
Price is certainly low now. However, it might go lower still because the market sentiment now is still bearish. I would advise waiting further before going in.
Yes, you can take a loan. However, if and only if you really know what you are doing. Otherwise, you are going to be stuck with financial worries. Loan is only recommended for people who are really knowledgeable on investing in Unit Trust. Otherwise, please don't take a loan.
